1960's 3BR/1 Bath ranch house with plumbing in slab.
Second bath on opposite side of house recently added.
New supply lines run overhead to old bath, new bath, kitchen, washing machine.
New bath and kitchen drain to a newly installed drain that meets up with original main drain in the front yard. Y Original hall bath gurgling but no blockage seen in main drain line via camera and snake.
Shower, Dishwasher, Washing machine all in use.
Leak appeared on the side opposite the original bath, but sink, dishwasher, sink, frig, washer NOT leaking.
Learned old kitchen drain capped off near kitchen on one end but not capped on the other end - maybe 30 ft.
Is it possible for water from original shower, sink and toilet to find its way into the old cast iron drain line that is only capped on one end?
If yes, could a long shower create enough water to float a toilet paper clog out of the old un-capped end of the old drain line into the main drain and create a clog?
