Author: george 7941 (Canada) Would sandpaper not damage the gloss finish on the porcelain? Especially the Cefionect finishes on Totos? Edited 1 times.

Author: vic (CA) Yes, all abrasives will damage the gloss finish. Once an abrasive has been used such as open mesh sand cloth we will need to continue to use abrasives with hard water, etc.

Author: jlowery (NV) never use an abrasive once you scratch the finish it gives the hard water a bigger and better place to deposit its self. some cleaners that have a mild acid to dissolve the deposit works but make sure not to get on your skin. the best is good old fashion elbow grease and clean it often.
