I need to replace my indirect hot water tank. My Burnham SL50 has a slow leak from around the immersion well and I was told to look into getting the tank replaced.
I have a Burnham ES25 boiler and currently a Burnham SL50 indirect tank. Both are almost 12 years old.
The plumber I use recommended a Triangle Tube Smart 60 tank. He says he's had a better experience with them than Burnham and they have a lifetime warranty on the tank (for the original owner). He's been installing them for several years and hasn't had a problem yet.
Any comments on this? Is Triangle Tube a good brand? One advantage to me is that they are narrower than others and space in there is tight so getting back 4" would be a big plus if this is otherwise a good tank. I am disappointed with the Burnham that it's leaking after not even 12 years.
Thanks.

I have used triangle tube products but not their indirect water heater.
Any of their products i have used have been very good quality.
I think your plumber is leading you in the right direction...
