 Toilet water disappeared suddenly
Author: bam99 (SC)

I heard a gurgling sound and saw that water had drained out of the toilet bowl, and at the same time, water had flowed in to my downstairs bathtub. Suspecting a blockage, I checked the sewer clean-outs and flushed various toilets, and I found no problem. Is it possible I had a "one-time" drainage problem that fixed itself?

No. The downstairs tub had water in it for a short time and it never happened again (as far as I know).
