Shoutout to the Jam Bar

Used it for the first time a couple of days ago on a toilet floor bolt. The bolt had been hacksawed off to the right length after mounting and the nut would not come off. The bolt just kept spinning. The Jam Bar worked really well, it has teeth that dig into the shank of the mounting bolt and prevent it from turning.

In these situations I had been cutting off the nut with an angle grinder. When working in a highrise that means ten minutes wasted on a trip down to the truck to get the angle grinder.

Author: Curly (CA) I thought about getting one of these in the past....Good to know that they work. I haven't gone any higher than a 2 rise so for now I'm Ok with the grinder....
