Hi, I just picked up a Spartan 1065 machine to take care of roots in my 4" main line. The machine came with no cutters and i'm looking to buy the correct one (s), on the Spartan website there are several that say they can do roots. Which are the best one (s) to get?
The specific situation currently has small roots on the edges (I just rented one a bit ago and cleared them). To access the main line, there is an inside clean out that has a 4" pipe, about 12" long that goes 90 degrees into the main line. The main line is 4" cast iron that transitions to ceramic. The issue is 35-45 ft out from the clean out.
Thanks.

IMO:
get a 3" root cutter head and let it 'bang around' as you (since time is not an issue) feed SLOWLY while also running water into the line with a garden hose
ps.
