I have a bathroom in the basement with normal sink and toilet plumbing going into the concrete slab. I want to add a corner shower. The sink drain is PVC and will be roughly 6ft from the shower drain. How high of a platform does the shower need to be on to have room for the P-trap? Can this be done without a pump?

you chop out the slab and install a solid trap designed for gasketed drain attachment from above
OR
you get a permit and a plumber

if i understand you correctly...
you want to tie the shower drain into the sink drain just as it enters the floor?
how this is done depends on the vertical section of the sink drain at the floor level.
if you break the cement floor where the shower trap is, you can recess the trap and probably get away with a 2x6 platform.
unless there is something really strange about the sink drain, no pump will be needed.

This is the roughed in sink plumbing. It will be a corner sink and the shower drain will be in the wall that connects to the left of the stud. Was planning to turn left and tie in at the very bottom as the drain enters the floor.
If that final turn might be an issue, I could also move the sink to the left and connect to the drain without the last turn.
I have a full 8ft where the shower is going so a platform shouldn't be a problem. Would really like to NOT break the cement floor if possible.

get a 2 inch p-trap, put it together (no glue), hold it next to the sink drain with the trap belly sitting on the floor. mark the center of the trap outlet on the sink drain. add 1/4 inch per foot of distance from the sink drain to the shower trap actual location. that will be the center of the sanitary tee you cut into the sink drain.
NOW you'll be able to calculate the depth of the shower platform.
you can decrease the height of the platform by breaking the floor and recessing the trap.
