flushed fruit(apple slices) down toilet, draining slowly
Author: didsomethingdumb (CA)

to preface: i know it was a stupid move. enough said about that.

i found this forum while panic-searching for ways to unclog my toilet. i hope asking for advice is allowed?

anyways, i flushed apple slices and some tangerine segments down the toilet and now it’s draining very slowly after being flushed, like 20-30 seconds, and it’s not filling back up afterwards. is there anything i can do for this? i do not have any wire coat hangers and i’ve tried plunging, dish soap/hot water, and vinegar. please help

Your best bet is to pull the toilet and remove the blockage to prevent a downstream clog in the future, depending on the size of the apple slices they could create a clog further down the line costing you more money and aggravation
