Are there any suspension clamps available for exterior application (subjected to sun and rain) for PVC pipes (IPS size)?

Some context, I want to run some 3/4" PVC line for irrigation from point A to point B along the property line above grade and I want to run it inside the fence by attaching it to the 4X4 fence posts at about 12" above ground.



To do that I think the suspension clamps like the ones below where you can attach supply lines where they cross the floor joists in the basement. But those are for CTS sizes, and I don't think those plastic clamps are weather resistant.



Yes I can use a roll of pipe hanger straps in copper (plated, I doubt real copper) or galvanized steel.

Amaz..n has 2 hole stainless straps, package of 20 for $6.77.

steve, I can't use these 2 hole straps (I have many myself). I want to mount the pipe against the post so the attachment would be to the post.

The only way I can use it against the post with these straps is if I were to remove the pickets from the other side, but that won't happen because the pickets were attached with rink shank nails, and the pickets are only 3/8" thick.

J hook or greenfield hangar?

J hangers would work just kind of ugly.

I just realized 3/4" PVC OD is 1.050" and 1" PEX OD is 1.125", so suspension clamps for 1" PEX will work if those are weather resistant. Are those ever used outdoors where it's exposed to sun & rain?

use the correct size hole saw and drill 1/2 a hole thru the post.
also a J hook wouldn't look bad. cut the vertical end off (at a 45) and drill a hole thru whats left for a stainless siding nail.

Packy I can't be drilling holes through the 4x4s it's a 50 foot run the pipe is going between the posts and the pickets there are 13 posts that it passes.

Use oversized solid copper tube straps and bend to make a suspension strap.

Get some scrap 14/2 Romex, split it open and cut a short section of the white neutral wire. Put a 1" #10 stainless screw in the side of the post and make a loop with the wire. The white insulation on the wire will blend in with the pipe, and the copper wire won't corrode inside its insulation wrap. Cheap, fast and easy. I use the bare ground wire like this to support copper indoors all the time. Copper-to-copper means no corrosion, and again, cheap and easy.
