Hello. Handy homeowner here.
I'm about to install a Kohler K-2975-KS-NA Thermostatic mixing valve with two Kohler K-2977-K-NA Volume control valves (all 3/4". One valve goes to the shower head, the other goes to a hand sprayer (additional body sprays and another valve are still being discussed). For the simple case, my assumption is a 'T' coming out of the mixing valve going to each volume control. Does this also require a pressure loop, or can the valves just be dead ends? Appreciate any assistance.

Good question
No need for a pressure loop the “volume controls” will take care of pressure fluctuation

you only need a loop to equalize flow if the volume control serves multiple devices.
example.. volume control works 3 body sprays.
