Hey everyone - have a PEX question.
Recently have upgraded my house to PEX and installed a manifold (not a viega) to branch off of the main water line to each room of the house.
The water main is 1" PEX, going into a 6-port manifold for the cold water. Output from that is 1/2" PEX to each of the sinks, toilet, etc that uses cold water.
The issue that I am having now is the water pressure. When I turn on the sink in the bathroom and then try to use the kitchen sink, there is virtually no water pressure.
Do you have any idea on how to remedy?

assuming no partially closed valves anywhere and no debris osctructing flow and properly installed piping:
need a better manifold with FULL PORT outlet valves ??????????????????????

Thanks for the reply.
I purchased the brass one that was suggested to me by the gentleman at the store. There is no debris or clogged lines, I plumbed everything brand new to avoid this issue.
What are you referring to "full port" valves?

What is your water pressure ?
How long are your runs from meter to manifold and from manifold to fixtures ?
How does hot side flow ?
Post some pictures of system ?
Do you have a pressure regulator ?
Do you have a backflow device ?
Did it work before you re-piped with pex etc. ?

what you are saying is...
turn on one faucet anywhere and good flow.
turn on a second faucet at the same time and poor flow.

1/2" pex with crimp fittings may be more like 3/8" copper as the ID is further restricted.
Also sometimes due to the way pex tubings are run it results in a longer run and hence higher frictional loss especially in small size tubing.
You need to isolate the symptoms more specifically. Is it like what packy said, one fixture anywhere ok but a second fixture no volume, or is it low volume in specific fixtures. Is it the same situation on the cold side vs hot side. Turn on a hose bib outside for watering plants and can you still run anything inside?
