I have a leaky tub faucet, single handle that pulls on and turns right and left for temperature control. I have taken the handle off and pulled the pin on the inside but I can't get the center or anything else to come out to attempt to replace the cartridge or washers. I don't know the brand or anything about this. Any help would be appreciated!

It's a Moen faucet. Google "Moen 1225 removal" and watch a couple videos. You will need to rotate the cartridge body, to loosen the o-rings between the cartridge body and the faucet body. Do not just try and yank out by the stem. Once the cartridge body rotates, it should pull out with the stem. Make sure the inside bore of the faucet body is clean and use some plumber's grease on the new cartridge seals. New cartridges often come with a small plastic tool to help rotate the cartridge body.

Steve,
I don't think it is the Moen 1222 positemp cartridge.
It looks more like Moen 1225 cartridge.

The first thing to do is remove the "U" shaped clip from the valve. It is a 1200/1225 core.
