This was posted earlier, but I didn't see an answer. I replaced the parts inside the backflow preventer and for 2-3 weeks, everything was great. No leaks. But then it started spraying water out between the edge of the housing and the bonnet. It seems to be pushing the o ring out of the housing and causing the water to spray out in that one spot. I've replaced the parts inside again, but can't get it to stop. Any suggestions? I have the FEBCO 765-3/4 backflow preventer.

Backflow prevention is a very serious thing to water companies and plumbers and also should be to a homeowner
Backflow can cause bacterial infection and contamination of the water distribution system
In my area you must have a backflow certification to install and repair the device
You have already tried to repair it and it is still leaking
It may be time to call a plumber certified in backflow assembly prevention repair
