 Identify screwdriver stop valve
Author: wateka (TX)

I am trying to identify the screwdriver stop valve in the attached photo. It is leaking through the valve stem. I live in an apartment building and they have to turn the entire building water off in order for me to replace the valve. As such, I’m trying to identify it and have the necessary parts available so that we only have to shut the water to the building off once. The building was built in the early 1990’s. BrassCraft, Symmons, and Delta have said it’s not theirs.

There is a logo (?) stamped on the side of the hex flat that may provide another clue.

What kind of fixture does that stop attached to?

The picture is from the washing machine, but the tub/shower uses the same stop valves. In the picture, after the stop valve, is the Symmons Laundry Mate washing machine shutoff, which is why I thought the stop valve was from Symmons, but no joy. Below is the Symmons stop valve, but the hex measurement across the flats is not 7/8”
