This is on the underside of a roof in a store, so I am thinking this is for the roof drain.

What caught my eyes are the offsets in the PVC pipes, my guess these are 4" pipes.





The offsets are done with three straight couplings. My question is what kind of fitting/pipe is between each pair of couplings? It looks to be an elbow with a street connection on BOTH ENDS. I don't think I have seen an elbow with two street ends, so are these PVC pipes that were bent by heat?

I believe you are correct heated with a heat gun and bent to the desired angle

they make them in smaller sizes. maybe they come in 4 inch as well ?
BTW.. who ever put those hangers did an excellent job.
3/8 beam hangers, threaded rod and looks like 1A band hangers.
