Author: schindlerslist (CA) Greetings, My issue is I have two screws that are loose but will not tighten or be removed. The plate itself is not quite completely flush against the tub. I can stick a screwdriver between the plate and tub. I do not wish to remove the plate. Thank you for your assistance. David Edited 1 times.

Author: bsipps (PA) Without any further info Either you have cross threaded or they are not the correct screws #1 you get the proper screws or a new overflow #2 use silicone to make a proper seal #1 would be the correct way

Author: Tom130 (IL) Do you mean they won't turn? If so you might try penetrating oil, I like Kroil oil or PB Blaster.

Author: Lorensr (CA) You need someone to help you. Open the Tub access panel. If you don't have one install one. Then you will be able to hold the nut or whatever the screws screw into.
