Laundry Room to Bathroom Conversion Advice.
Author: Kyle_civic (TN)

I am looking for guidance on how to plumb my laundry room conversion that’s going to be turned into a second bathroom and laundry room with stackable washer and dryer. Pictures will help you see what I’m working with here.

5x10 room with doors going through the middle. Right now it’s just a 2 inch drain running from the washer back to the main stack with the kitchen sink also attached on.

I know I’ll have to switch it over to a 3 inch. I have moved my water heater over to the other side of the current wall to give me extra room.

My question is what would be the best rough in diagram to go with to accommodate sink, shower, toilet, and washer?

The main stack is about 35 feet away and this laundry room is also on top of a carport that was converted into a bonus room so yes I know I’ll have to go down into the concrete rather than raising the floor. These pictures will help show the layout of the room and I’m not picky on what goes where but by the measurements it’s looking like toilet/washer dryer side by side the shower/sink side by side.

Thanks

WOW... as helpful as i would like to be, this is a very complicated question. i can tell you the 3 inch pipe will need 9 inches of pitch over the 35 feet run.
you will need a cleanout tee at some point in that 3 inch.
you can get away with one 2 inch vent for the bathroom group and a 1 1/2 inch vent for the washer.
the bathroom vent will come up somewhere behind the lav.
down below it looks like you can cut a san tee into the 4 inch that is in the darkness in your picture.
one more thing,,, your insulation is installed upsidedown. the vapor barrier {paper} goes toward the side heated in the cold weather.
look here for lots of venting ideas... [www.google.com]
