Author: sum (FL) I saw this "riser" at a gas station. The pipe is either 1" or 1-1/4". There is a threaded plug on top, a cleanout cover a few inches below that, and a smaller cap at a 45 angle in between. Why so many covers? Where is this pipe leading to? The actual gasoline storage tank below?

Author: george 7941 (Canada) What is its purpose of the conduit and the wires inside?? It does not seem to be doing anything now. Future expansion? Or are the wires inside the conduit connected to the pump for this particular dispenser and enables testing of the pump?
