in home almost 23 yrs. and 3 yrs. ago when using washer in basement, basement hole floods basement and upstairs toilet gurgles so once a year, it costs a lot to unclog. plumber states my trap is rocked backwards, is some settling maybe in yard and maybe near trap or pipes and a vent may be separated. my village won't help me solve this problem claiming it's all a homeowner issue and from my dome to road it's fine they say. is there any way to permanently fix this expensive issue?; would u have to dig down near trap and add concrete to stop backwards rocking trap?; could u even do this?

does the gurgling go away after the pipe is cleared?

has anyone sent a sewer camera down the pipe to see what is going on ?

thought plumber was referring to a trap below basement hole in house but he could have meant trap in yard which would mean my village who blew me off can't or won't take responsibility; yes gurgle of toilet stops after clog is cleared and yes there is a camera that could be put down there but I can't afford it at about 700 when just to unclog is high 300's and 400's.
