Replacing soil pipe. What toilet flange should I use ?
Author: Lee (NJ)

Hi everyone. I have to replace my soil pipe under the toilet. So I will replace it with PVC Schedule 40, 4 inch. My question is : what toilet flange do you recommend?

i would bring the 4 inch higher than the anticipated finish floor.
when the floor is finished, cut the 4 inch flush with the top of the floor.
then use a push fit flange thay has no taper on the bottom. (called flush fit)
make sure the ring is stainless and it is well secured to the floor.

You help so many people everywhere. I am from Northwestern NJ. Approximately 45 minutes from the City. Although I have relatives in Concord New Hampshire. Wife and I go and visit them.

Thanks again. Merry Christmas !
