Is the stem for a supply valve with 1/2 Compression outlet (frequently used for LoBoy toilets) the same as the stem for the more common 3/8 Compression outlet valves?

I would say yes.
I know it is between 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" mip outlet angle stops.
Not a lot of 1/2" compression outlet in my neck of the woods.
I do not see why they would make it different....but you never know.

It surprises me that you do not come across 1/2 compr outlet vlaves.
Virtually all the LoBoy toilets, using the 1B1X fill valves, I encounter in Toronto were plumbed with 1/2 compr valves. These were installed in the 70s and 80s and I guess it was accepted practice to use these valves, and 1/2 in supply lines, for the higher flow needed for bowl wash.

Just confirmed they are the same. Found the Brasscraft catalogue and they list just one stem for all their multiturn valves. It is on page 16
