Hello. We are restoring a house that has two case 3000 wall mount toilets. One of them has a cracked toilet seat lid. I would like to remove the lid to glue it. I can’t find any information online on how to remove the seat and lid. All I know is that it is spring loaded. There is a ceramic rod that holds the seat and lid in place. I’ve tried to push on it without any luck. I’ve been unable to locate an owners manual or any other info online. I was hoping someone on this forum might be able to help. Thank you!

Aftermarket Replacement (discontinued) BEMIS BEM-800CCP
seat mounts horizontally through the tank on 7" center to center
case 3000 wallhung / case 1000 floormount use the same parts
seat bolts through the tank horizontally on 7" center - "case style hinges"
you will most likely need to glue the lid for structural integrity then use a 'toilet seat cover' to hide the seam
IMO: do NOT attempt to dissasmble the parts of the seat itself as you will find it very difficult if not impossible to replace it - out of production since 2001
