relocation of washer and venting

I am wanting to relocate a washer and need advise, currently washer flows down into floor drain. I am wanting to move the washer 10' to 11' feet away. and tie into the existing washer line above the floor drain. I don't know where the vent for the washer is located. Is it to far of a run to use the old washer standing drain for a vent? I will have to run all new drain to that area.

Author: packy (MA) distance from fixture trap to vent varies by some codes. my code says with 1 1/2 inch pipe you can be 5 feet away from the vent. you can probably fit in a studor vent somewhere in the first five feet from the trap and cover the code requirement

Author: Rcherry (IN) Most certainly that is too far. Run an individual vent or an AAV if allowed in your jurisdiction. 2 in line has an 8 ft critical distance. Edited 1 times.
