Why use copper straps to hold pipe? What's wrong with galvanized or plastic?

galvanized straps on copper tube are not a good idea - think 'galvanic action'

plastic straps are weaker than metal straps

therefor:

copper (probably plated) straps on copper tube

the beauty of tube talons is that they are cheap and you can use twice as many as metal clips and still be ahead of the game.
