I have an apartment building and one side of the building is having water issues. The downstairs bathroom isn’t working except a small amount of water in the sink faucet.
The upstairs apartment sink is also very slow and the toilet will only fill if the sink is on. The toilet is also filling with hot water and the shower will only run hot water also.
Both kitchen sinks upstairs and downstairs are working as well but downstairs is slow. The downstairs shower and toilet are also not working at all.
A friend told me it could be an airlock, but before I drain it I would like to see if anyone else has any ideas.
We have on this building for over a year and never had any issues other than the upstairs toilet had a cracked tank and flooded the apartment. I am now starting to wonder if it was always filling with hot water and no one ever knew.
Thanks for your help!

Sounds like you have a single handle faucet or could be something else. But you better fix it or you may have a cracked bowel on a cold morning.
