 emergency auto shut off valves

I am curious what you guys think of mainline water automatic shutoff valves? I've watched a few you tube videos and my conclusion so far is it's only necessary to get one for the mainline and also it should have multiple sensors to detect water which will then automatically close the main immediately.

I've seen options where there are automatic shutoff valves installed at individual fixtures like a washing machine, but this seems redundant if you can just shut off the main. I've also seen ones that do not automatically shut off the main but rather just send you a message over the phone. I've seen others that detect temperature changes in the water and pressure changes but I don't know this seems like overkill or could easily think there is a problem when there really isn't, but I don't have any experience with any of these. Thanks.
