Found this when I went to replace an inside shut off valve for the rear garden tap.
The guy who did this needed about a 22* bend. He must have heated the 1/2 M copper pipe red hot, inserted it into the elbow, bent it to the needed angle and then soldered it into the elbow. BTW I have never come across a 1/2 in Copper 22 1/2 elbow in Canada.
The rest of his work was horrible - way too many 45 and 90 elbows with the pipe at odd angles all over the place and no supports anywhere. There was a belly in the unsupported pipe outside under the deck and, of course, the pipe split over the winter. The customer had called me in the spring to repair the split.
