Toilet tank trip lever for Crane Flormont elongated
Author: ArthurPeabody (NM)

The seat hits the lever when up. After 15 years the original lever broke. Standard levers are too thick, I have to hold the seat up to urinate. I bought the only lever with a recess at a home store, for a Mansfield, in the RV section, but it mounts differently. I'll have to order, but Crane is out of business and all the handles with recesses are for specific brands. Does anyone know what works? The home store takes returns, so I could order all of them, choose the one I like, return the rest, but I don't like that.

Thanks. I have a 3921E: its lever is on the front of the tank, not the side. As the Q&A on that page reads, 'Crane Plumbing has a very complex history...' and 'Crane tended to take a "mix & match" approach to their toilet models, and so you will often see the same tank used on a variety of bowl styles.'

Those aren't recessed either. I found the Jones Stephens T01034 which comes close. The label says it's brass but it's plastic.
