Good afternoon, Is it possible for Pex tubing to leak/get air in the system. I've re-crimped all the crimped fitting I could reach, I've changed my foot valve in my artesian well, put new clamps on black water pipe in well, new water pump, and the system still leaks pressure. However, When I shut the complete house value cutting water to the house, the pressure remains, even overnight, When the valve is open pressure drops within 15 - 20 min and trips the pump for more pressure. I have closed all the hot & cold water valves to all the fixtures in the house and the pressure still drops. Oh, and to add, there is no water leaks, puddles or wet spots anywhere. I am at my wits end. What are the chances of a hot water heater keeping air or not filling and allowing more water in when the pump shuts off. Please someone help. Thank You for any an all advice or opinions. Dan M

There IS, repeat IS, a leak somewhere after the house valve.
? icemaker ?
? toilet flapper leaking calling for 'fill water ?
even a very small leak will drop pressure quickly
good luck

I did the food color in both toilets, not the flappers. Ant thoughts on the water heater?

shut the CW supply valve to the water heater
this 'should' confirm or eliminate the HW piping as the 'culprit' (assuming said valve shuts 100% tight)
