Low water pressure between valve body and shower head. Have tried reverse flush from shower head to valve housing w garden hose.Low volume in reverse flush direction also. Not cartridge since new one was installed. Any ideas appreciated.

If t is just a shower and the valve was installed "properly", there is debris buildup in the bottom where the "bub spout connection" is plugged..

Thanks! What’s the “bub spout connection”? I assume the connection to the shower head. Yes it’s a shower only

it is the plugged/capped opening on the bottom of the valve body. You have to remove the cap/plug and flush it out.

If applicable with the valve model, was the screen removed, as it should have been done at time of installation?

HJ, I have located the cap at the bottom of the valve body. Do you suggest a flush from the showerhead side or back up through the valve body from where the capped opening is? Thanks for your advice, much appreciated

remove cap

'poke' gently

turn on water (with a 'bucket' underneath)

re-cap
