 Toilet leak fixable?

I was cleaning my toilet and I found this part leaking. can this be repaired or do I have to just replace it?

Looks the the fill valve vacuum breaker which is easily replaceable… but it is leaking into the tank which is not wasting water unless the fill valve will not shut off in that case I would replace the assembly which can be removed by shutting off the water supply and lifting the retaining nut up then pull the assembly up and off of the shank

This continues to leak when the valve is closed. Thank you for the guidance, I'll purchase the required parts and install.

Whole valve is $7.98, rubber replacement seal (no cap) is $2.98...time required to futz with fill valve and try to replace seal with the valve still in the tank....priceless. While technically fixable, I would opt to replace.
