 copper reducing fittings
Author: sum (FL)

I am looking for two specific copper (or brass) fittings, but I am not sure what they are called.

(1) This is a reducer. One end is a 3/4" hub sweat connection, the other end is a 1/2" spigot (street) sweat connection. A 3/4"X1/2" reducing coupling has a hub on both ends, and I know they make a 3/4"FTGX1/2"reducing coupling which is a 3/4" spigot end to a 1/2" hub end, I want the reverse. So I think it should be called a 3/4"X1/2"FTG reducing elbow.

(2) A 90 elbow. One end is 1" hub, the other end a 3/4" spigot. So it is a 1"X3/4"FTG reducing elbow.

Seems these are being made by someone? Or do I need to throw multiple fittings together to make these?

1. have NEVER seen a fitting liker that
2.Even if it were made, the demand would be so small that no supply store would carry one
3. A conventional elbow with a stub of 1/2" copper would do the same thing

I have never seen that "radiator fitting" but could have used a bunch!! Added 3/4 oak floors in our 1916 house and went with a close nipple and coupler with gave me 1-1/2" in height, so I needed 3/4 spacers under the radiator legs...
