I had an American Standard pressure assisted toilet and because the tank was broken replaced it with an Amer Standard with a Manual flush valve. The new tank will not flush all the way and had a Plumber come out adjust the toilet and will still not Flush? He said I need to replace the flush valve with a Pressure assisted toilet like I previously had because the pipe coming into this toilet was to small ? According to Amer Standard I cant put a Tank
on this Toilet only the Flush Valve.Rather than buy an entirely new toilet do I have any other options here to get a flush ? Thank you for your help !!

I hate to say it but you should just buy a new toilet the power flush or flush assist tanks are specific to the flush assist bowl and do not function properly mixed

Pressure toilets need a specific flow of water that a conventional tank cannot deliver.
