I spilled purple PVC primer on to a new fiberglass shower and it dried before I noticed the spill. Alcohol did not remove it so I called Oatey the primer manufacturer. They recommended fingernail polish remover BUT NOT THE ONE WITH ACETONE. The bottle said for artificial nails, no acetone. It work amazingly. All the spots came right off with very little effort and the finish was not damaged. I wish I had taken before and after photos. The only negative was the PVC drain cover had a large spot on it and that did not come off. I bough a replacement cover problem solved.

I have made a paste from baking soda and water to remove purple primer from a old faded peel and stick tile floor.
