I am a septic installer and I do a little plumbing repair work.
I don't have $5000 to spend on a camera, but can do something in the $500-$1000.
#1) Are there any good cameras in this price range?
#2) Any recommendations?
I need a camera for looking in septic drainfield lines, sewer lines and house plumbing lines.
Thank you!

Can’t tell you anything about the cheap ones but the rigid see snake is very good and the locator is quite accurate and there are plenty of repair shops around when the camera cable kinks… my suggestion is don’t buy a cheap one, we charge good money for video inspection and the money comes back within the 1st year or 2 especially because a lot of townships around here have very old sewers and require a sewer video inspection before the sale of your house some even require the installation of a back water valve as well
