Looks like a leak to me.
1. If I clean that pipe by brushing the green and white(BTW what is that white stuff) off the pipe - will it leak ? I believe so. Will the supply pipe to the tankless where the leak exists be ok until summer time ? Right now I do not see any water dripping.
2. When I fix the leak will I have to close the gate valve above so that water does not gravity feed down from above?
3. Will the "out" of the tankless coil drain back or feed back when I cut the intake pipe or supply to the tankless to do the repair ?
4. I do not have to drain the whole boiler before I repair the copper pipe do I ?
5. I have pictures !
I would appreciate any advice you are willing to offer.
Thanks
