Hey guys, I have an old copper pipe that I need to fix, looking to go from copper to PVC, what connectors do you recommend, is the shark bite good? Are there any tricks involved that would help this conversion. Thanks.

If it's inside a building you cannot use PVC, unless you meant CPVC.

No, this is my house and the pipe is just a simple outside hose hooked to a spout I water the lawn with, just the copper pipe is pretty old and I wanted to change it to PVC

changing copper to pvc merely because of 'age' using 'slip-on' fittings is a downgrade

you need to either:

learn to solder

OR

call a plumber

if you change it to PVC and the PVC is not buried, it may become brittle over time as PVC gets weakened when exposed to the sun. Painting it helps.

You might want to post a picture so the pros can advise you the best way to change out that pipe.

I would suggest cutting your copper pipe and using a Sharkbite coupling as a way to adapt to PEX pipe.
Then the only skill you will need to know is how to install PEX piping.
As said PVC not the best choice in this situation but I do see it installed all the time inside homes so I guess it is an option. If it breaks inside the home and nobody is home well it could be a disaster.
