Connecting Countertop Dishwasher to Pull out Faucet
Author: tvilla85 (CA)

Hi there,

I'm trying to connect my Farberware Countertop dishwasher (model FCD06ABBWHA)to my WEWE pull-out kitchen faucet (Chinese brand from Amazon). I know this is not standard to do with a pull-out faucet, but I would like to avoid replacing the entire faucet. I have read on article here that it just takes a few adapters + aerators to make the connection successful. [kilbasar.wordpress.com]

It would be great to get your recommendation on adapter/aerator parts needed.

Af ew additional questions:
I have heard that there may be risk that the pull out faucet hose can't handle the pressure and could burst or leak. Is this a real risk I should be worried about for a countertop dishwasher or primarily only an issue affecting portable dishwashers that are more powerful. Second,Iistead of connecting to the hfaucet without a head, I've also seen folks remove the aerator from the head of pull out facuets and connect directly to the head. Is there a recommendation which is better? Thank you very much!

The "Powe" comes from the water system, NOT the dishwasher. You would be better off, if you have an extra hole, or can make one, in the sink and install a hot water "pantry faucet" to connect it to.

most portable DW hoses serve 2 purposes.
they connect for water inlet and have a drain hose that spits into the sink.
in this case he would not be better off.

looks like bern and i agree on the first day of the year and you and disagree.

OF COURSE he would since the combination device would be over the sink and the "thing" would replace the aerator.

If the OP is 'lucky' they may have a soap dispenser which can be replaced by:
