 draining problem
Author: Mike Pardue (IN)

I have had a major draining problem for about a week now, I went and rented a 100 ft drain snake and removed the toilet and filled the bathtub up with water and removed the drain plug water did not go down. this is the second time I have removed the toilet I removed the old one and replaced it with a new one and the new one flushed 1 time then would not go down and air bubbles and a gurgiling noise from all sinks and the tub. so this time I removed the toilet filled up the tub open the tub drain and seen standing water down the toilet pipe. I ran the snake out about 50 feet and seen the water start draining out of the tub quickly (great found the clog) so I replace the toilet and the wife ran the washer and water backed up into the tub now I have flushed to toilet 10 times and it flushes perfect I can't see that the tub drain pipe could be clog because with the toilet removed the tub drain perfectly. seen like with the toilet when installed now causes the tub and washer to not drain at all now been 30 minutes and still water standing in the tub and hasn't drained out any. any ideals
