Help identify this shower handle brand
Author: hotdawg100 (Canada)

Hi all,

I am attempting to retrofit a shower and wanted to change the handle. I was told that I need to know the exact brand of the plate in order to be able to fit it properly.

I looked all over it and there doesn't appear to be any branding - its ~2004 built, located in Canada.

Here are the images and size for reference. Appreciate any help or pointing me in the right direction.

Please remove the handle and trim, take a picture of the in-wall valve and post it back here.

I contacted Moen and Delta support - Moen said its not theirs, Delta said

"Please be informed, that the image provided from your end is a monitor series, however, it is not a Delta brand and we are unable to determine the exact brand hence, unable to confirm the model number and brand."

I guess by not delta brand they mean it must be some generic? And no I looked everywhere there is no fine print anywhere.

Does this help?

I've search images of the valve body and came up empty. Remove the handle and chrome sleeve and post a picture of the rest of the valve body and the cartridge end, to see if that helps. I'm thinking it might be a knockoff valve.

In your original post, you stated you want to retrofit it. What do you mean by that?
