I have a basement wall that is showing signs of moisture sporadically all over the wall. On one side of that basement wall is the basement on the other side of that basement wall is dirt and on top of that there is a family room that sits on a slab so that side of the basement wall does not see outside weather. On the far side of that family room is a half bath the plumbing and drain for the half bath run under that slab to that basement wall that has the sporadic moisture spots on it. Those spots of been there for years I've tried painting over them but they just bleed through. Could the drain or the water lines that go to the half bathroom be leaking and causing this problem with the basement wall?

if the water line/s are leaking you will see movement on the water meter when nothing is running.
as for the drain, you can put some dye in the drains and wait to see if it shows up. (google drain dye)
