Is this turnable to shut off the water supply to dishwasher
Author: Mason28 (MA) I am replacing the dishwasher in an apartment build in 1969. I think the hot water valve for the dishwasher is old-style, and need help for turning it off before disconnecting the old dishwasher. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Author: NP16 (OR) 1969 is not that old for plumbing. should be very strait forward to turn it off. It's possible the handle is damage or missing. A round handle would be closed by turning it clockwise. Very important for my day to day dealings out there is knowing where the main valve is just in case it's needed. whenever working on water piping this must be known. Edited 1 times.
