T connection between shower and toilet drain
Author: psh (OH) Hi, I live in OHIO and are remodeling my bathroom. My contractor wants to connect the shower drain to toilet drain. He plans to use a T to connect the toilet (on the left side of the T) and shower (on the right side of the T) and together down to main line. I didn't see any vent pipes at all. Will that work? Thanks

Author: steve (CA) All fixtures need to be vented. There are different ways to vent. Can you provide us picture(s) or drawing with what is planned? Are permits being pulled for this work? [www.plbg.com]
