Clogged cold water supply line (water softener resin)

This past week my water softener (which came with the house and is probably 20 years old which Ive never had serviced) failed pretty bad and the orange resin from the softener got into the supply lines of the house. Ive been able to get a good amount of it out and my hot water lines are totally free of it.
I still have a couple of fixtures not working (cold water only, hot is good) that are all on one wall (kitchen sink and water hose bib on exterior wall).

It is not gummed up at the valve or the fixture as Ive completely disconnected the valves and if it were there my house would be flooded.

My guess is that there is a big glob of this stuff at an elbow or a horizontal run in the wall behind my cabinets.

I tried sucking it out with a shop vac to no avail.

My question is, do plumbers have either a strong suction compressor or an air compressor they can use to make a cut somewhere in the ceiling and then try to force this crap out?

Author: bsipps (PA) You can try to hook up an air compressor and shoot 100psi through the line but I have a feeling your cutting the line and drywall in a couple places
