pipe from sump pump run across yard
Author: Marko1 (MO)

Hi all.
I want to extend a sump pump discharge pipe across yard to low spot to dissipate in rip rap.
At the moment it dumps right next to the foundation and runs right back into the basement.
Cycles every 3 minutes or so lol ...
What pipe should I use? looks like 1 1/2" running into a fitting that connects to 4" corrugated black pipe.
would it be better to just run 1 1/2 all the way or is the black corrug ok, just need to extend the length?
I never like the thought of all that water sitting in the corrugations breeding mosquitos all summer...

increase to 2" and run the 2" into the 'pit'

be certain to maintain CONTINUOUS sliiggghhhhht pitch downwards (more pitch is good)

ah good idea bump up to 2". I was wondering if that long 30'? of 1 1/2 would be too constricted.
after 9 straight hours of digging and chopping roots i'm almost to the end of the house and starting to feel my 71 years LOL.
thanks
