Is it possible to extend a dishwasher discharge hose? I want to put a high loop since there is no air gap, but there isn't enough hose to do it. Is there an extension piece I can get with a coupling to the end of the existing hose?
I think this is a 7/8" hose?
Or should I just pull out the dishwasher and replace the existing hose with a longer version?

Use a short piece of 3/4" copper to splice on some 7/8" dishwasher hose, clamps on both sides of the splice and on the garbage grinder.

Or there may be excess line tucked behind the dishwasher give a little tug, I usually stuff the excess hose back there for a cleaner look

I recently did a Bosch dishwasher install and they had an extension hose available: [www.homedepot.com].
I am not sure if it will fit other model dishwasher drain hoses, of course! Maybe there is an extension hose at Home Depot that is more generic?
