Small leak from Supa Stor hot water storage tank
Author: Caryfb (NY)

Hour or so after service on my boiler for no heat situation our 26 year old hot water storage tank ( in service only in summers for previous 17 years) has a small ,intermittent water leak at the bottom. It is not coming from relief valve or any exterior connection, What could be the issue? Is it just age? Not believing in coincidences I am thinking it is somehow related to the service on boiler though no work was done on the storage tank and the service provider gave no indication it was related to his work when he returned to see the leak.
