New install American Standard R433S 3 way diverter valve

What is causing water to dribble from the shower wand while the shower head is on and vise versa. Also should the valve be able to turn 360 degrees or should it have a stop?

i'm confused.

why did you use a 3 way valve for 2 outlets ?

the installation directions are quite explicit.

anyway, i'm leaning toward the 2 big "D's" as the problem.

Debris...
Defective...

bern, i see that.

one outlet at each of the three positions.

9 o clock
12 o clock
and 3 o clock

shared at

10:30
1 :30
but at 9-12-3 there should be no shared function.

so unless he is tweeking to 11:45 or 12:15, the 12 o clock position should be the only port functioning when properly set.

as for 360 rotation, i'm not sure i ever installed a transfer valve that didn't do that ?
