 Bath vanity supply lines

Hi All

Bringing up the PEX supplies from the crawlspace into the bath vanity. Is it against code to have the cold enter on the left and the hot on the right? For future ID, I am using blue and red PEX and will connect to the proper angle stop, which are stubbed out on the proper side. This would make the connection more relaxed and less tension.

I realize that this would be unacceptable to the pros, but......

Thank You

simple fix would be to reverse the sink faucet supply lines under the vanity after the angle stops

Exactly. The blue, cold, angle stop on theleft would cross over to the right faucet connection and vice versa with the red hot PEX.
Thank you.

there is no code regarding hot on left and cold on right.

The reason for this is because there is a very narrow space to bring the PEX up from crawl and because cabinet has drawers between legs and cabinet space. Stub outs maximum distance from faucet hookup is around 12 inches.

i've installed a couple of pedestal sinks where the water pipes came up thru the floor. the customer did not want to see the water piping so it came up thru the pedestal leg.
if you stuck your head around back a looked at the water pipes, shut offs and supplies it looked horrible.
remember, the drain comes out of the wall so the trap is in the leg as well.
so... i feel your pain..
