I have been searching for information on how to reset my DISPOSALL brand garbage disposal. I know there is usually a red button on the bottom of the disposal but this brand does not have that. Can you please help me locate the rest button is on that brand? Thank you, Sarah

If this is a black GE Disposall, there should be a notch in the side of the housing, near the bottom, and the reset is in the recess. If a green GE Disposall, the switch is in the same side location, but you access the button from the underside.

i found this.
"If the motor overloads because your GE GFC325F garbage disposal jammed, it will go on reset and shut off. To reset, turn off the wall switch or unplug the cord under the sink. GE Appliances instructs to wait two to five minutes, then turn the switch back on"
i am not familiar with this machine but it seems some models will reset themselves. they use a thermal switch that when it gets hot it shuts off and when it cools down it resets automatically.
find your model number and look online for the manual if you don't have yours.
